Yvonne Bell Avriett

Yvonne Bell Avriett, 73, resident of 109 Broadwell Ave. Calhoun Falls, widow of Floyd Avriett, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at her home.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC, she was a daughter of the late William Henry Bell, Jr. and Virginia Roundtree Bell.

Yvonne was a retired assembly operator with General Motors, Inc. She had made her home in Buffalo, N.Y. for a number of years and returned to Calhoun Falls to help care for her mother. She was also a member of Springfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Annie Laura Kennedy of Calhoun Falls, SC and Vernadine McCullough of Columbia, SC; 4 brothers, Willie T. Bell of Calhoun Falls, SC, Ollie Bell of Chicago, Ill, James Bell of Greenwood, SC and Franklin Bell of Calhoun Falls, SC.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnnie Waller officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at the home 109 Broadwell Ave. Calhoun Falls, SC.
