Wilma Arnold Browne

August 7, 1920 — April 26, 2014

Wilma Hatcher Arnold Browne, 93, resident of National Healthcare in Greenwood, SC passed away Saturday April 26, 2014 at National Healthcare.

Born in Dublin, Georgia she was a daughter of the late William Green Hatcher and Annie Drucilla Darsey Hatcher. She was twice married first to the late Hozie E. Arnold and the late Phil Browne.

She was a retired employee of Virginia Hall, Inc. and a homemaker. She was also of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son Larry E. Arnold (Linda) of Abbeville, SC; two granddaughters Aimee L. Hornsby of Greenville, SC and Andrea A. Dawson (Stacey) of Abbeville, SC; great-grandchildren Alina Claire Hornsby, Sydney Jeanne Dawson and Zachary Wayne Dawson.

She was preceded in death by five sisters Ollie Sirmons, Ida Bryan, Myrtle Hinson, Irene Estes and Inez Thomas; and two brothers Ernest Hatcher and Richard Hatcher.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday May 3, 2014 in Buckhorn United Methodist Church Cemetery in Dexter, Georgia at 2:00 PM. The family is at the home of her son Mr. & Mrs. Larry Arnold 300 Magazine St. Abbeville, SC.
