Vivian Belle Campbell Gordon

Vivian Campbell Gordon, 89, resident of Abbeville Nursing Home, widow of George Howard Gordon, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the nursing home.

Born in Abbeville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ban A. and Marie Parnell Campbell.

Mrs. Gordon was retired from Abbeville Shirtmakers and was a dedicated member of Abbeville First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Catherine Worth Grant Circle and a former member of the Bristow Sunday School Class.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and special family friends, John and Pearl McMahan. She was predeceased by her brother Howard Campbell and her sister Helen C. Latham.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chandler Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Greenwood, SC,

The body is at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the services. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John McMahan 301 Miller St. Abbeville, SC
