Victor "Vic" Ernest Boyd

Victor "Vic" Ernest Boyd, 90, resident of Coastal Manor Nursing Home husband of Jean Simpson Boyd died Friday April 23, 2010 at Hospice House in Savannah, Georgia.

Born in Abbeville SC he was a son of the late E.L. Boyd and Lilly Poore Boyd.

Mr. Boyd was a retired conductor with the CSX Railroad with over 40 years of service. He was also a member of the Abbeville ARP Church.

Survivors include his wife Jean Simpson Boyd of Atlanta, Georgia: 1 son John Boyd of Jesup, Georgia: 1 daughter Victoria Boyd of San Francisco, California; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Norris.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday April 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Long Cane Cemetery.

The body is at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM Monday afternoon prior to services.
