I had the pleasure of meeting Vera when I visited my mother, Janie Price, at the DWRC. What a delightful lady! The last time I had lunch at her table, she shared her story of leaving Abbeville, GA to come to Abbeville, SC. I was so sorry to hear of her unexpected death. May God be the Great Comforter to your family during this time.
