Vera Richey Fellows

Vera Richey Fellows, 93, formerly of Anderson, SC widow of Thomas H. Fellows, Sr. passed away Monday Dec. 20, 2010 at National Health Care in Anderson, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late William "Willie" Richey and Minnie B. Richey.

Mrs. Fellows worked at Riverside Mills for 16 years until it closed. She was a graduate of Antreville High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Abbeville, SC.

Survivors include 2 sons Tommy Fellows and his wife Bunny of Batesburg-Leesville and Sammy Fellows and his wife Margie of Greenwood, SC; Long time companion and caregiver James Morrison of Anderson, SC; 3 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and five sisters and also two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday Dec. 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Long Cane Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Scott officiating. The family will receive friends following the service on Thursday afternoon. The family will be at their respective homes.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Fellows may be made to a charity of one's choice.
