Tony Wayne Martin

Tony Wayne Martin, 68, widower of the late Laureese Ashley Martin, entered into rest Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born on September 20, 1956, in Anderson to Lou Ellen Martin and the late E.J. Martin, he worked many years at Foundry & Steal. He retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglass.

Tony Wayne was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting deer, and turkey. He was also an avid NASCAR fan, with his all-time favorite driver being Bill Elliott, he enjoyed watching Kyle Larson as well. He loved his family most of all.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is his companion of 14 years, of the home, Teresa A. King; his brother, Tommy Martin (Sill) of Rockwell NC; his sister Diane Parrish of Greenwood; his fur baby, Hambone of the home. He was predeceased by a sister, Kim Yeargin.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday September 2nd at 3:00 PM from the Chandler Chapel of Chandler Jackson Funeral with Rev. George Gardner officiating.
