Timothy Ray Shirley

Timothy "Tim" Ray Shirley, 46, resident of 907 Washington St. son of Sybil Ricketts Shirley and the late Ray Shirley died Sunday Oct. 21, 2007 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC Tim was formerly employed with Burnstein Industries Inc. and was a member of Keowee Baptist Church. Tim was affectionaly known for his giving heart to others and he continued to do so at his death as he was a organ and tissue donor to help benefit the lives of others.

Survivors include his daughter Sgt. Georgia Rae Shirley, USMC attending Clemson University of Honea Path, SC; 2 brothers Bob Shirley of Abbeville, SC, Mike Shirley and his wife Conway of Due West, SC; his mother Sybil Ricketts Shirley of Abbeville, SC.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday Oct. 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.The family is at the home's of his brothers Mr.& Mrs. Mike Shirley 144 Winona Church Rd. Due West, SC and Bob Shirley 907 Washington St. Abbeville, SC.

The family will recieve friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday evening Oct. 23, 2007 at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
