Thomas Jefferson Winn

January 22, 1928 — July 12, 2004

Thomas Jefferson Winn, 75, of 212 Marshall Ave., died Monday, July 12, 2004, at his home.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a retired supervisor with Milliken Textiles, Abbeville Plant. He was also a mason and a member of The Clinton Lodge AFM. He was a Shriner and a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple in Greenville. He attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Abbeville.

Surviving are son, Thomas Allen Winn of the home; and sisters, Sarah W. Newton of Charleston, Lorraine W. Edwards of Greenwood and Jean Bowden of Parsonsburg, Md. He was the widower of Mary Bowie Winn and the son of the late Claude A. Sr. and Amy Uldrick Winn. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary C. Winn; and three brothers, Claude A. Winn Jr., Robert M. Winn and Jerry Winn.

Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ray Massey; burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Masonic rites.

The body is at the funeral home. The family is at the residence, 212 Marshall Ave., Abbeville.
