Thomas "Tommy" John Tucker

Thomas "Tommy" John Tucker 64, resident of 395 Hwy. 20 husband of Phyllis Elaine Tucker passed away Friday March 16, 2018 at his home.

Born in Abbeville, SC Nov. 1, 1953 he was a son of Nell Dermody Tucker and the late Marion Tucker.

Tommy was a carpenter by trade and worked in construction. He was an outdoorsman and a avid fisherman and hunter. He was a huge University of Georgia football fan. Tommy was a people's person as he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and his love for others.

Survivors include his beloved wife Phyllis Tucker of the home; his mother Nell Dermody Tucker of Abbeville, SC; a daughter Lindsey Jones (Cory) Holden Beach, NC; a granddaughter Katherine Nell Jones; a sister Donna Southard of Abbeville, SC; a brother David Tucker (Jane) of Anderson, SC.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday March 18, 2018 at Abbeville First Baptist Church Family Life Center at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. John Keith and Mrs. Lindsey Jones officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family is at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Billy Bauman 1309 N. Main St. Abbeville, SC 29620.
