Theo Shirley Taylor Frede

Theo Shirley Frede, 78, of 4329 Main St., Hodges, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

She was the daughter of the late Otto and Mildred Callie Shirley. She was twice married, first to the late Cifford O. Taylor and the widow of Doug Frede.

She was a retired manager of Catoe's Department Store in Abbeville for many years and was of the Episcopal Faith and attended Trinity Episcopal Church.

Surviving are daughters, Jo Hall of Valyermo, Calif., and Destiny Jones of Hodges; son, Nick Frede of Atlanta; brothers, Ozzie Shirley of Sun City, Fla., and Lee Shirley of Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home; burial will be held at a later date. The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Family members will be at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones, 5319 S.C. 185, Hodges.
