Susie Gibert Blanks

COLUMBIA - Services for Susie Gibert Blanks, 79, will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, with burial in Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Abbeville at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12 ? 1 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to InCare Hospice, 4685 Highway 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, S.C. 29577 or Main Street United Methodist Church, 1830 Main Street, Columbia, S.C. 29201.
Mrs. Blanks, wife of the late Walter N. Blanks, Jr. died Monday, December 17, 2007. Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Baskin and Sara Pearman Gibert. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Betty G. and Heyward E. Blanks of Columbia; and two nieces, Wanda Scott of Greer and Debra Burke and her husband, Michael, of Florence. She was predeceased by a brother, Albert Gibert.
