Ruby Farmer Botts

September 1, 1919 — April 20, 2013

Ruby Farmer Botts, 93, formerly of 2388 Hwy. 20 resident of National Health Care in Greenwood, SC passed away Saturday April 20, 2013 at National Health Care.

Born in Anderson, SC she was a daughter of the late W.J. (Bill) Farmer and Jessie Winters Farmer. She was the widow of William Guy Botts.

Ruby was retired from Riverside Mills and was a life long member of Gilgal United Methodist Church. Ruby will be remembered for her compassion for others and her loving demeanor.

Survivors are: a sister-in-law Ruth B. Brock of Abbeville, SC and a special friend Dot Argo of Abbeville, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday April 23, 2013 at 3:00 PM in Gilgal United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bill Bynum and Ray Massey officiating. The burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at their respective homes.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Tuesday afternoon in the social hall at Gilgal United Methodist Church prior to services.
