Rosa Ella Thompson Harris

Rosa Ella Thompson Harris, 96, resident of 95 Cedar Lane widow of Robert Harris, Sr. passed away Tuesday Dec. 26, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Abbeville, SC she was a daughter of the late Jake Thompson and Sallie Lou Thompson.

Rosa was a homemaker and a member of Glover's AME Church. She had a kind and loving spirit and will be missed by her loving family and her many friends.

Survivors include a daughter Lizzie Harris of the home; two sons Robert Harris, Jr. (Karen) of Calhoun Falls, SC and Leroy Harris of Columbia, SC; one grandson Benjamin Harris.

She was preceded in death by a son Roosevelt Harris.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday Dec. 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park in Greenwood, SC.

The family is at the home 95 Cedar Lane Calhoun Falls, SC.
