Roger Dale Rosser, 49, resident of 103 Morningside Drive husband of Alicia Gardner Rosser passed away Monday Oct. 27, 2008 at his home.
Roger was born in Abbeville, SC a son of J.C. and Mary Jane Alexander Rosser. Roger was
currently employed with Prysmian of Abbeville and was also owner and operator of Roger's Repair Service. Roger was formerly involved with the Due West Cub Scouts Troop# 287. He was also a member of the Woodman of the World and was a volunteer fireman with the Cold Springs Volunteer Fire Dept. He was of the Methodist faith. Roger will be remembered for his loving smile, a friendly joke and his willingness to help those in need.
Survivors include his wife Alicia Gardner Rosser of the home; his parents J.C and Mary Jane Alexander Rosser of Abbeville, SC; 2 sons Samuel D. Rosser and his wife Kason of Due West, SC and Brandon Wheeler of Rock Hill, SC; 2 daughters Madison and Hayley Gardner of the home; 3 sisters Mrs. Paul (Linda) Tiller, Ms. Doris Beauford and Tina Rosser all of Abbeville; grandsons Hunter and Chase Rosser of Due West; In-laws George and Phyllis Gardner of Due West, SC; Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grand-parents, Mr. & Mrs. George P. Alexander and Mr. & Mrs. J.C. Rosser, Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Oct. 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Chapel of Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with Mr. George Gardner and Dr. William K. Manning officiating. The burial will follow in The Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery in Lowndesville, SC.
Roger is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will recieve friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday evening. The family is at the home of his sister Mr. & Mrs. Paul (Linda) Tiller 61 Alexander Rd. Abbeville, SC.
