Robert Sidney Thompson

Robert Sidney Thompson, 87, resident of 385 Hannah Road, husband of Ellene Louge Hannah Thompson, passed away Dec, 7, 2010 at Hospice of the Piedmont.

Born in Hemingway, SC, he was a son of the late Autley Thompson and Willow Snow Thompson. He was twice married, first to the late Jonell Thompson.

He was a graduate of Mars Hill College and also attended Stetson University. He was a United States WWII Navy veteran, having served in the South Pacific. He was a retired Master Electrician with Walt Disney World. He was also formerly employed with Cape Canaveral in Florida. He attended Southside Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted in DeLand, Florida.
