Randall Ladon Stone

Randall Ladon Stone, 60, of Hwy. 34 Ninety Six, formerly of Abbeville, SC, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Elberton, Georgia, he was a son of Laura Frances Yeargin Stone and the late James Marvin Stone.

He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed in supervision with Flexible Technologies. He enjoyed time riding his motorcycle with friends. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and he will be missed by his loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his mother, Laura Frances Yeargin Stone of Abbeville, SC; 3 brothers, Kyle Stone and his wife Sandra, Basil Stone and his wife Ruth, and Barry Stone and his wife Geri, all of Abbeville, SC; 2 sisters, Dianne S. Patterson and her husband Rusty, and Connie Stone both of Abbeville, SC; 8 nieces and nephews and 6 great-nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Sept. 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Beauford and Mr. Chris Davis and Don McCurry officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Military Honors. The family is at the home of his mother Mrs. Laura Frances Stone 106 Morse Ave. Abbeville, SC.

The body is at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM Wednesday evening.
