Ouida Gaddis Nickles

January 1, 1931 — November 30, 2010

Ouida Gaddis Nickles, 79, resident of Presbyterian Home of Clinton, wife of Howard Nickles, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Hospice of Laurens County.

Born in Greenwood, SC, she was a daughter of the late Claude Gaddis and Estelle Graham Gaddis.

Ouida attended Lees McRae College and retired as a Medical Records Technologist with Self Memorial Hospital. She also worked for the Presbytery of South Carolina prior to her retirement. She was a faithful member of Greenville Presbyterian Church. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Nickles of the home; 2 daughters, Jean Atkins and her husband, Tony, of Chapin, SC and Susan Moore and her husband, Mike, of Mount Ulla, NC; 5 grandsons, Clay, Collin and Cameron Atkins, Nicholas and Matthew Moore.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Dec. 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Greenville Presbyterian Church, Donalds, SC with the Rev. Jonathan Bowling officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon in the Social Hall at Greenville Presbyterian Church prior to services.
