Milton Allen Hagen. 74, resident of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday August 21, 2023, at his home.

Born in Abbeville, he was a son of the late Robert Allen Hagen and Bertie Mae Loner Hagen.

Milton was a diehard Clemson fan and an avid golfer. He and his brothers, Andy and Bob, were founders of the “Cousins, In-Laws, Out-laws, and Branch Kin Annual Golf Tournament; 2023 being its 16th year. Milton was also the manager of First Credit in Abbeville.

Survivors include his ‘Darlin’ Shirley Lance, a son, Kevin Hagen (Leanne) and a daughter, Jenna Weis (Wes); one sister, Marsha Patterson (Wayne), and 2 brothers, Andy Hagen (Joan) of Morganton NC, and Bob Hagen of Beaufort, SC; grandchildren, Jackson, Grady, Brayden, Julia, and Mason; and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday August 24, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at the Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church, 194 Hwy 20, Abbeville, SC with the Reverend Wayne Wicker officiating. Burial will follow in the Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Wayne and Marsha Patterson, 247 Hagen Dr., Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials in memory of Milton be made to Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church, 194 Hwy 20, Abbeville, SC 29620.
