Mildred Bailey Murdock

Mildred "Millie" Bailey Murdock, 93, resident of 1177 Murdock Rd. widow of Charlie Cowan Murdock passed away Saturday Feb. 3, 2018.

Born in Augusta, Georgia she was a daughter of the late Milton Reese Bailey, Sr. and Estelle Brooker Bailey.

She was twice married first to the late William Luke Thompson.

Millie was a retired Library assistant and homemaker. She was a devoted member of Little River Baptist Church as well as a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and the Bouquet Garden Club.

She is survived by: several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Milton Bailey, Jr. and sisters Jennie Grimaud, Melvis Moody, Joyce Bailey, Lillian Williams and Barbara Holmes.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday Feb. 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Little River Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Garrett Hart officiating.
