Mike Hughes

John Michael “Mike” Hughes, 55, resident of 556 Middle Willow Rd. Orangeburg, SC husband of Debra Dawn Smith Hughes passed away Saturday April 16, 2022.

Born on Orangeburg, SC he was a son of the late Aubrey Lynn Hughes and Carolyn Ruth Pound Hughes.

He was a retired Clerk and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends but the apple of his eye where his grandchildren.

Survivors are: His wife Debra Dawn Hughes of Ware Shoals, SC; 2 step daughters April Manly (Jamey) of Ware Shoals, SC and Lacey Montjoy (Michael) of Ware Shoals, SC; four grandchildren Hannah Carroll, Ronald Carroll, Mallory Manly and Jaxon Manley.

A Celebration of Mike’s life will be conducted Saturday April 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Chandler-Jackson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends after services.
