Mavolyn Bradberry

Mavolyn Hall Bradberry, 92, resident of 368 Bulls Horne Rd. Nation Community widow of Thomas Miller Bradberry, Sr. passed away peacefully Thursday Dec. 27, 2018 at the Hospice House in Greenwood, SC with her loving family by her side.

Born in Abbeville County SC she was a daughter of the late Clayton Hall and Lura Cox Hall.

Mavolyn was retired from the Abbeville Shirt Plant. Upon retirement she became a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church where she was former Treasurer, Sunday School teacher as well as serving on numerous committees within the church.

Survivors include: her daughter Sandra B. Hall (Stanley) of Ware Shoals, SC; a daughter-in-law Brenda Bradberry of Abbeville, SC; three sister-in-laws Frances Lewis of Abbeville, SC, Betty Pruitt of Iva, SC and Carolyn Kay of Columbia, SC; a brother-in-law James Bradberry (Linda) of Abbeville, SC; four grandchildren Chad Hall, Shea Hall, Tony Bradberry (Allison) and Dusty Bradberry; one great-grandson Briggs Bradberry; a special friend and caregiver Billie Faye James.

She was preceded in death by a son Tommy Bradberry and a brother Abner Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Dec. 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Midway Baptist Church with the Revs. Chad Charles and Russ Tollison officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home 368 Bulls Horne Road, Abbeville.

The family will receive friends following the graveside committal service Saturday afternoon.

When I was growing up Mavolyn and Tom were some of the friendliest, kindest, and most memorable neighbors that I had. I always enjoyed the times that I spent with and around them. They will always be a big part of my memories growing up. My condolences go out to the family.
