Mary Ramey Gillespie

Mary Ramey Gillespie, 71, resident of 120 Pinewood Circle widow of Kenneth Webb Gillespie, Sr. passed away Thursday Feb. 11, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Abbeville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Albert T. Ramey, Sr. and Vera Milford Ramey.

She was retired from the Abbeville County Courthouse office of the Clerk of Court after many years of service. She was also a faithful member of Main St. United Methodist Church. She will be missed by her loving family and her many friends.

Survivors include 1 son Kenneth Webb Gillespie, Jr. and his wife Klase of Greenville, SC; 2 daughters Ramey G. Millett and her husband William of Charlotte, NC and Laurie G. Lollis and her husband Alan of Simpsonville, SC and 4 grandchildren, Webb Gillespie, Mary Klase Gillespie, Matthew Lollis and Anna Lollis.

A graveside Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday Feb. 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville, SC with the Rev. Randy Taylor officiating.
