Marvin Gordon Haynie

M. Gordon Haynie, 56, resident of Hwy. 178 North passed away Sunday March 10, 2013 at his home.

Born in Winter Park, FL he was the son of Ellen McKee Treece and the late Marvin G. Haynie.

Gordon was a retired heavy equipment construction operator.

Survivors include his mother Ellen McKee Treece of Due West, SC; 1 sister Angela Urps and her husband Wayne of Spartanburg, SC; a son Russell Stamps and his wife Michelle of Columbia, SC and 2 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Gordon's life will be conducted Wednesday March 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Garrett Hart officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 AM Wednesday morning at the funeral home prior to services.

The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
