Martha Mondschein Bauer

Martha Mondschein Bauer, 96, formerly of 4 Strong Circle resident of Carlisle Nursing Center widow of Felix Bauer passed away peacefully Friday May 20, 2011 at Carlisle Nursing Center.

Born in Kassel, Germany she was a daughter of the late Carl Mondschein and Charlotte Sommer Mondschein.

Martha was a retired registered public nurse and school nurse with School District # 60. She will be remembered for her charming personality and her caring manner.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Linda Bauer Holly and her husband, Doug, of Atlanta, Georgia; 1 son, Boris Bauer and his wife, Jane, of Easley, SC; 2 grandchildren, Kendra Anne Bauer and wife, Jennifer, and Colin Weston Bauer and wife, Tonie; 2 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a sister Claire Mondschein.

Entombment services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 PM in Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Dr. Randle Ruble officiating.
