Marion "Boots" Watson James

Marion Leona "Boots" Watson James, 81, resident of 129 Edgewood Circle wife of Roy James passed away peacefully Saturday August 8, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Toccoa, GA, she was a daughter of the late Dallas Vincent Watson and Grace Smith Watson.

Marion was a retired textile employee with West-Point Stevens Mill. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and spending time with her family. She attended the Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years Roy James of the home; two daughters Gail James of Abbeville, SC and Marlene J. Chrisley of Calhoun Falls, SC; two grandchildren, Brian Chrisley and Terry Steven James, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Caleigh Chrisley and Savannah Chrisley.

She was preceded in death by a son Terry Steven James.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday August 11, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Jason Propes officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at the home in Calhoun Falls, SC.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to services.
