Margaret Evelyn Uldrick Hess

Margaret Evelyn Uldrick Hess, 88, resident of Emerald Gardens in Greenwood, SC formerly of 200 Perry St. widow of George Cleo Hess passed away Saturday Dec. 21, 2013 at Emerald Gardens.

Born in Abbeville, SC she was a daughter of the late Floyd Uldrick and Donnie McMahan Uldrick.

Evelyn was a retired Computer Keypuncher with Milliken Textiles for over 36 years. She was a devoted and active member of Congregational Holiness Church. Evelyn will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her loving demeanor.

Survivors include two sons Ronnie Dean Hess (Teresa) of Jacksonville, FL and George Wilton Hess (Gloria) of Orange Park, FL; four grandchildren Brian Hess (Lori), Steve Hess (Stephanie), Chris Hess and Brittany Hess; four great-grandchildren Tyler Hess, Marley Hess, Victoria Hess and Cody Hess. She was preceded in death by a grandson Chase Hess.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday Dec. 23, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev.'s Tye Sorrow and Bo Erwin officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to services. The family is at the home 200 Perry St. Abbeville, SC.
