Margaret "Edna" Williams Ellis

Margaret Edna Williams Ellis, 83, resident of 156 Gin House Rd. Antreville Community widow of William Calvin Ellis, Jr. passed away Friday April 27, 2012 at her home.

Born in Spartanburg, SC she was a daughter of the late Jack Williams and Maude Caldwell Williams.

Edna was formerly employed with Abbeville Shirt Plant and retired from Mayfair Mills. She was a dedicated member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her kind and caring demeanor by her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include her son Billy Ellis and his wife Kathy of Abbeville, SC; 2 daughters Donna Wentzel and her husband Ron of Steamboat Springs, Colorado and Rita Major of Abbeville, SC; a sister Juanita Bishop of Charleston, SC; 2 brothers John Williams of Spartanburg, SC and Francis Earl Williams of California; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Edna's Life will be conducted Monday April 30, 2012 at 3:00 PM in Shiloh United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Donalds officiating. The family is at the home 156 Gin House Rd. Antreville, SC.
