Lynda Green Brooks

Lynda Green Brooks, 68, resident of 5004 Old Calhoun Falls Rd. passed away Saturday July 2, 2011 at her home.

Born in Dayton, OH she was a daughter of the late Glen Arthur Green and Mary Hilma Feltz Green.

Lynda was the retired owner and operator of the Double D Cattle Farm. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include 3 sons, Glen Brooks and his wife Lindi of Abbeville, SC, Ricky Brooks and his wife Sherry of Jackson, TN and David Brooks of Bushnell, FL; 1 brother Gary Green and his wife Chellie of Mooresville, NC; 4 grandchildren Jasper, Sawyer, Hollye Beth and Haylee.

A Celebration of Lynda's life will be conducted Tuesday July 5, 2011 at Main St. United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. The family is at the home of her son Mr. & Mrs. Glen Brooks 4930 Old Calhoun Falls Rd. Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends from 2:00- until Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son Glen Brooks 4930 Old Calhoun Falls Rd. Abbeville, SC.

The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate 1830 Rogers Rd. Anderson, SC 29621 or to Main St. United Methodist Church PO Box 656 Abbeville, SC 29620.
