Lucy Emma McKee

Lucy Emma McKee, 99, resident of 613 Central Shiloh Rd. passed away Wednesday Oct. 13, 2010 at Abbeville Nursing Home.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late John William McKee and Mary Rebecca McIlwain McKee.

She was a retired textile employee with over 41 years of service with Riegel Textiles. She was a loyal and faithful member of Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class and the Ladies Circle of the church. Lucy will be remembered for her loving nature and caring manner. She will be sorely missed by her loving family.

Survivors include a sister, Nell McKee of the home and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday Oct. 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. John Miller officiating. The burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at the home 613 Central Shiloh Rd. Abbeville, SC.



The body is at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to services in the church social hall.
