Lucille Hutchinson Land

Lucille Hutchinson Land, 94, resident of 1247 St. Paul Church Rd. Calhoun Falls, widow of Oscar Land, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Hutchinson and Lucy Lawton Hutchinson.

She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Lucille will be remembered for her loving and caring demeanor. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and her many friends.

Survivors include one daughter, Renee Land Brewer of Abbeville, SC; four sons, Frank Land and Lonnie Land (Marie) of Abbeville, SC, Henry Land (Sue) of Iva, SC and Preston Pressley (Jean) of Byron, GA; 5 grandchildren and 30 Great-Grandchildren. She was the last member of her immediate family.

Two brothers Giggs and Frank Hutchinson and one sister Eltha Mobley preceded her in death.
