Lois Angela Bryant, affectionately known as Angela, was born on January 16, 1961, and sadly passed away on January 25, 2024.
Angela was a woman who love being in the outdoors. Whether it was horseback riding, fishing by a lake, or collecting feathers that caught her eye, Angela found joy in the peace and comfort of being outside.
One of Angela's proudest accomplishments was being drum major in high school. This gave Angela the opportunity to march in the inauguration parade for Jimmy Carter—an experience that held a special place in her memories.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents, William Black Sawyer and Joan Brooks Sawyer.
She is survived by her son Joshua Bryant (Lacy), her daughter Lauren Hudson (Justin), as well as her grandchildren Justin "Will" Hudson, jr., Jada Hudson, Jamie Bryant, Cannon Bryant, and Rushton Bryant. In addition to her immediate family, Angela is survived by her sisters Marion Lee Verma and Alexis Nash.
Perhaps one of Angela's greatest joys came from the companionship of her furry friend Starla-P. Starla-P held a special place in Angela's heart and brought endless happiness into her life. Angela's love for her four-legged companion brought a smile to her face every day.
Angela's favorite Bible verse has always been Psalm 103: "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name."
