Linda Waters Fleming

Linda Waters Fleming, 73, resident of 830 East Savannah St. passed away Tuesday Nov. 19, 2013 at Heardmont Nursing Center in Elberton, Georgia.

Born on Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late Paul Richard Waters and Maggie Wiles Waters.

Linda was a retired textile employee having worked for Rocky River Mills. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Linda will be remembered for her pleasant demeanor and her concern for others.

Survivors include a daughter, Krista Sammons (Ken) of Abbeville, SC; two sisters, Johnnie Bradford (Jim) and Bobbie Jean Johnson (Joe) both of Elberton, Georgia; one brother, James (Buddy) Waters of Elberton, Georgia; a granddaughter, Lindsey Sammons and her fiancée, Thomas Wilson; and special friends, Roy Grimes and John David Fleming.

Linda was preceded in death by twin infant daughters.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Nov. 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at the home of her daughter Mr. & Mrs. Ken Sammons 108 Wilewood Rd. Abbeville, SC 29620.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM Thursday afternoon at the funeral home prior to services.

Memorials in memory of Linda may be made to a charity of one's choice.
