Lars Edmund Banks

Lars Edmund Banks, 26, resident of 317 Fifth Ave. passed away Sunday Oct. 6, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Greenwood, SC he was the son of Melanie Edmunds Banks and William "Bill" Banks, III.

Survivors include his mother Melanie Edmunds Banks of McCormick, SC; his father William W. "Bill" Banks of Tazewell, VA; sister Allistar Banks; maternal grandmother Mary Edna Edmunds of McCormick, SC; uncle Barry Edmunds (Ruthie) of Abbeville, SC; and two nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Oct. 10, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Revs. Sarah Robertson and Eldridge Kelley officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 PM Thursday afternoon at the funeral home prior to services.

Memorials in memory of Lars may be made to a charity of one's choice.
