Kenneth Shealy McCrary

August 1, 1935 — February 1, 2015

Kenneth "Ken" Shealy McCrary, 79, resident of 306 Cedar St. passed away Sunday Feb. 1, 2015 at NHC in Clinton, SC.

Born in Clinton, SC Aug. 1, 1935 he was a son of the late Clyde H. McCrary Sr. and Frances Mobley McCrary.

Ken was a retired Assistant Vice President of Banking at M.S. Bailey & Son Bankers in Clinton, SC with over 41 years of service. He was a member of Broad St. United Methodist Church. Ken enjoyed traveling and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include sixteen nieces and nephews and a number of great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers Sam H. McCrary, C.H. McCrary, Mabry W. McCrary, Billy Lee McCrary and Robert J. McCrary; three sisters Louise M. Pitts, Sarah M. Sheorn and Emma M. Alexander; and two nephews Sammy McCrary and William A. (Bill) Alexander, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday Feb. 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Broad St. United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kitty Holtzclaw officiating. The burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton, SC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 PM in the social hall of Broad St. UMC.

In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Ken may be made to Broad St. United Methodist Church 310 N. Broad St. Clinton, SC 29325.
