Kathleen Fleming Williams

Kathleen Fleming Williams, 87, resident of The Maples, Honea Path and formerly of Cold Springs community, Abbeville passed away at AnMed Medical Center on March 23, 2013.

Born in Due West, she was the daughter of the late Obie Harrison Fleming and Janie Todd Fleming and the widow of James Lowrie (Larry) Williams. She was a lifelong member of Due West Baptist Church.

She was a retired dietician for the old Abbeville Hospital and served her church for many years as Sunday School teacher for the Junior class and as church treasurer. She was a devoted wife, sister and aunt and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 25, 2013 at 4:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Bannister officiating. The burial will follow in First Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4:00 PM Monday afternoon prior to services at the funeral home.
