John Raiford Howard

John Raiford Howard, 80, resident of Apt. 1401 Abbeville Arms husband of Lillie Stevenson Howard died Wednesday May 31, 2006 at his home.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC he was a son of the late John Salter Howard.

He was a retired textile employee as a fixer with Grendal Mills in Greenwood, SC. He was a member of Jordan Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC. He was also a WWII Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife Lillie Stevenson Howard of the home, 2 sons Roger Dale Howard of Chanute, Kansas and Steven Louis Howard of Huron, Ohio, 3 sisters Kitty Mae Hawkins of Hodges, SC and Vera Wilson of Abbeville, SC, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.

The family is at the home 1401 Abbeville Arms Apts. Abbeville, SC.
