John Hartley

John Irvin Hartley, 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2021. He was born in Abbeville, South Carolina in 1947 to the late Walter Hartley and Grace Mundy. John joined the US Army in June of 1965, proudly serving his country until retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Kyong of the home; son John Hartley of Ammon, Jordan; daughter Loranda Lewis (Chris) of Greenwood, SC; two stepdaughters, Cassandra Bradley of Fayetteville and Sonya Adkins of Houston, TX; sister Karen Smith (Roy) of Abbeville, SC; two brothers, Stanley Hartley (Janice) of Greenwood, SC and Mark McDonald of Abbeville, SC; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

John will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who lived a full and joyful life..
