JoAnn Weathers Gable

Jo Ann Weathers Gable, 79, resident of Hester Drive Apt. 6515 widow of James Thomas Gable passed away Thursday Feb. 18, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.

She was born in Greenwood, SC a daughter of the late James Alton Weathers and Ruby Elizabeth Farmer Weathers.

Jo Ann was a retired textile employee having worked many years for Anderson Mills. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include six daughters, Brenda Moon of Anderson, SC, Teresa Creamer of Anderson, SC, Toni Smith of Starr, SC, Margaret Bowen of Pickens, SC, Nancy Nichols of Anderson, SC and Jean McCormick of Pickens, SC; three sons, Thomas Gable and Richard Gable both of Anderson, SC and Curt Gable of Abbeville, SC; twenty one grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Jo Ann's life will be conducted Saturday Feb. 27, 2016 at 3:00 PM in The chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Brandon McManus officiating.
