First of all, i would like to say what a great guy Jerry was, and that smile,i never saw Jerry mad in all the years i knew him, i dont think he had a mean bone in his body.Jerry saved my life in 1999, he was following me out of Iva when i got hit by a drunk drive, he drove back to Iva and got the Ambulance, and stayed at the ER with my family all night. He worked at the Bingo doing security for me.Jerry you will be greatly missed by everyone. Hope to see you on the other side one day my friend..Love you!

To the family, you are in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Jerry a few years before he retired. He was always smiling and treated me with respect.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family for your comfort and peace. I had the honor of working with Jerry as the University's municipal judge. He was an excellent and kind officer. As someone told me when I lost my mother, there will come a day when his memory will bring more smiles than tears. I pray that you will look forward to that day.
