Jane Troglin Harden

Jane Harden 73, resident of 103 Ridgeway St. wife of Robert "Bob" Harden passed away Friday March 8, 2013 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Marietta, Georgia she was a daughter of the Bertha Dobbs Troglin and the late Ed Troglin.

Jane was a retired bank teller with former Bankers Trust in Abbeville, SC. She was a very active member of Main St. United Methodist Church. Jane served as the coordinator of the bereavement committee of the church for many years. She was also a former member of the church choir and was a member of the Susanna Wesley Circle of the church. Jane also served on numerous other committees within the church. She enjoyed her retirement days spending time with her loving family and her precious grandchildren.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 54 years Robert "Bob" Harden of the home; her mother Bertha Dobbs Troglin; 2 daughters Dianne Mitchell and her husband Gerald of Ware Shoals, SC and Suzanne Lassen of Abbeville, SC; 1 sister Kathy Huckeba of Douglasville, Georgia; 4 grandchildren Corey, Jaryd, Kalen and Eddie; 1 great-granddaughter Avari.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 11, 2013 at 2:00 in Main St. United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. The burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at the home 103 Ridgeway St. Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Monday afternoon in the Greene Center at Main St. United Methodist Church prior to services.
