Guestbook

To the family,I always enjoyed working with Mr. Pete at Bloomsburg. He was conscientious about doing a good job and pleasant to work with. We worked in the weave room and he was my loom fixer for many years. I have many fine memories of Mr. Pete.

Mrs. Vinson, Janet, Opal, Jean, Marvin, Brenda and family,I am so sorry for the passing of Mr. Vinson. It was my honor and privilege to know him. He was such a good man. He leaves such a great legacy for his family. He loved the Lord and his family so much. I know he is rejoicing with his Lord and has saw Jesus. I know the coming days and months will be hard. I pray the Lord will give you peace, comfort you and give you strength to face each day. I love you all. Debra

As Chief of the PAIA Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation of South Carolina, I want to send my condolences to the family of James Blue Turtle Vinson. James was a tribal member and a member of our Elders' Council. He attended our yearly Pow Wow several times and always was part of our Grand Entry. He contributed to the petition to the state of South Carolina for tribal recognition. His history is part of our tribal history. James will be missed but he has attained his eternal reward.

Great childhood memories of Uncle Pete. No finer man. I know you'll miss him (as I do my dad) but it is such a comfort knowing where he is and you'll be with him again someday--Hallelujah!
