Dear Dot and Family, Jim was one of my mentors who taught me how to be a pastor. It was an honor to know him and a priviledge to have he and Dot come and minister to us and our church in Greenwood. Betsy and I are praying for you all and thanking our Lord for sharing with His church such a choice servant as brother Jim. Love, Clent & Betsy

Dear Mrs. Dot, The world is a little less bright! Pastor Moss was an amazing preacher and I am so happy for the foundations he helped to lay in my heart when I was a child. God used you and Jim in our lives in such a very special way and I am so very thankful to Him for that. I am so thankful for the prayers Pastor Moss lifted up for me. I know that I will see him in heaven one day because of salvation in Christ! What a day of rejoicing that will be! My prayers are with you and your family! Sending a big hug! Love, Ivy (Moore), Irek, Izabella and Olivia Fogt.

The warm stories and sermons, always sincere but delivered with a bit of humor made Rev. Moss's visits to Grace very much appreciated.

There are no words to express the loss of such a wonderful man! He will be missed by family, friends and community alike. He was our guide and friend. He has now been released from his earthly body and the chains that bound him and risen triumphant to the glory of his heavenly reward. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

Dear Ms. Dot, Mark, Amy, Elza, and Beth, Mama just called this morning to let me know about Mr. Jim. I just wanted to let you all know that I am thinking of you all at this time. I know the last years have been difficult for all of you with Mr. Moss' illness. I am reflecting on the rich Christian life that he led and all the people's lives he came in contact with and influenced by his humanity and humor. I know me and Elizabeth Ann can attest to that. Just the other day, Elizabeth Ann was saying that it was Mr. Moss who taught her the essentials of basketball. I heard "Rock the Boat" the other day and I remembered all of Mr. Moss' parodies of the popular songs, and his "Hee Haw" style jokes. Living next door to the manse and keeping up with Mr. and Mrs. Moss all these years, I know their ministry has not always been an easy one, but I never heard them complain. I am grateful to have known Mr. Jim Moss. May God Bless. Jimmy Daniels
