James Maddison Latimer

April 26, 1933 — April 6, 2004

James Maddison Latimer Jr., 70, of 193 Winn Road died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at his home.

Born in Gainesville, Ga., he was a retired accountant with South Atlantic Constructors. He was a Korean War veteran and a member of Greenville Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are widow, Agnes Hawthorne Latimer of the home; son, Jimmy Latimer of Cummings, Ga.; daughters, Pattie Latimer of Louieville, Ky., Pam Towe of Six Mile and Jill Collins of Summerville; brother, Austin C. Latimer of Greenville; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services are at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Greenville Presbyterian Church cemetery. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.

The family is at the residence.

Memorials may be made to Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, Greenville Church Road, Shoals Junction or to a charity of one's choice.
