James "Jim" Trotter

James “Jim” Arnold Trotter, 75, resident of 208 Ware Rd. husband of Margorie Smith Trotter passed away Friday March 17, 2023 at his home.

Born in Piedmont, SC he was a son of the late Roy Arnold Trotter and Margaret Willene Jamerson Trotter.

Jim proudly served his country in the US Navy and was a self- employed Carpenter by trade. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include: His beloved wife of 33 years Margorie Smith Trotter of the home; a sister Donna Lamb (Robin) of Greenville, SC; three sons Brandon Lee Trotter (Rachel)of Iva, SC, Scott Trotter of Easley, and Ryan Lloyd of California; four daughters Denise Games (Gallo) of Townville, SC, Linda McDowell (Jason) of Easley, SC, Cayssie Wall (Ryan) of Abbeville, SC and Elizabeth Trotter (Robbie) of Iva, SC; fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Trotter.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday March 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ Tollison officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 at the funeral home prior to services. The family is at the home.

The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials in memory of Jim be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
