James William Graham

James William Graham, 87, resident of 657 Sharon Church Rd. husband of Viola Burdette Graham died Saturday Feb. 18, 2006 at the Abbeville Nursing Home.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC he was a son of the late John William and Janie Caroline Pursley Graham.

He was a World War II Army veteran and was a retired textile employee with Abbeville Mills, Milliken Plant. He was also a member of the Abbeville First Baptist Church.

Survivors are: His wife Viola Burdette Graham of the home, 1 son Roger Graham of Abbeville, SC 1 daughter Eve Poole of Abbeville, SC, 1 sister Jacqueline Cothran of Abbeville, SC, 2 brothers Paul and Bobby Graham both of Abbeville, SC and 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Caroline Stroud.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday Feb.19, 2006 at 3:00 PM from The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Reiny Koschel and Mr. Sammy Lewis officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Abbeville, SC.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will recieve friends from 1:30 until 3:00 PM Sunday afternoon prior to services. The family is at the home 657 Sharon Church Rd. Abbeville, SC.
