James "Greasy Wilson" Thomas Gable

James Thomas "Greasy Wilson" Gable, 65, resident of Hester Dr. Apt. # 6515, husband of Jo Ann Weathers Gable, passed away Saturday Nov. 7, 2009 at his home.

Born in Lowndesville, SC, he was a son of the late Thomas James Wilson and Gussie Redempsy Gable Wilson.

He was a United States Army veteran and was a retired pulpwood operator. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father and devoted family man. He will be sorely missed by his loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years Jo Ann Weathers Gable of the home; 6 daughters, Brenda Moon of Anderson, SC, Teresa Creamer of Belton, SC, Toni DeGrave of Starr, SC, Margaret Bowen of Anderson, SC, Nancy Nichols of Anderson and Jean Minor of Belton; 3 sons, Thomas Gable of Anderson, SC, Richard Gable of Anderson, SC and Curt Gable of Abbeville, SC; 5 sisters, Eva Murphy of Pendleton, SC, Sybil Kay of Belton, SC, Elizabeth Byrum of Iva, SC, Joyce Hutchinson of Starr, SC and Cindy Aiken of Anderson, SC; 1 brother, Roger Wilson of Belton, SC; 20 grandchildren.

Services will be private.

The family is at the home on Hester Drive Apt. #6515 Calhoun Falls, SC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
