Imogene Moore Jones

Imogene Moore Jones, 82, resident of 94 Monterey Rd. widow of Alvin "Red" Jones passed away Friday Dec. 14, 2012 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born July 25, 1930, she was a daughter of the late W.M. Moore and Alma Brown Moore.

She was a retired textile employee with Rocky River Mills with over 30 years of service. She was a lifetime member of Bells United Methodist Church where she served in various capacities. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mary Jane Hanna and her husband Tuck and Diane Waters and her husband Deanie all of Abbeville, SC; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Jones of Abbeville, SC; 1 sister, Mary Alice Wiles of Iva, SC; 8 grandchildren, Jody Waters, Heath Waters, Deanna Cooper, Abby Waters, Jeremy Jones, Clay Jones, Ryan Hanna and Curtis Hanna; 15 great-grandchildren. A son, Mike Jones preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday Dec. 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Bells United Methodist Church with the Revs. Kevin Lindley and Curtis Hanna officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home 94 Monterey Rd. Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
