Hubert Thompson

Hubert Asbury Thompson, 87, resident of 38 Agape Lane husband of Molly Simms Thompson died Friday Sept. 29, 2006 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, SC.

Born in Commerce, GA he was a son of the late Ernest and Tiny Thompson.

He was a retired self employed carpenter. He was also a member of Abbeville KIngdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. Hubert was baptized in the church Oct . 20, 1942.

Survivors include 2 sons Charles Thompson of Denver, Colorado and Ray Thompson of Mill Spring, NC; 2 daughters Patricia McCullough of Taylors, SC and Judy Smith of Greer, SC; 1 brother Jack Thompson of Hodges, SC; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson and 3 step-sons.

Services will be conducted Sunday Oct. 1, 2006 at 4:00 PM from the Abbeville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness with Brother Anthony Davis and Brother Randall Kidd officiating.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM Saturday evening. The family is at 38 Agape Lane Abbeville, SC.
