I will miss Pete at the Wellness Center. He entered with a broad smile on his face and left with that same smile---after he had shared his latest joke with me. He was a kind and gentle man and there are so few left with those qualities. I always told Pete that he should tell the "rookies" at the Wellness Center that he weighed almost 300 lbs before he joined the Center. Abbeville will miss Pete-and so will I. Thanks go to Pete's family for sharing him with us these many years!

To the family of Pete Norris: I'm so sorry to hear about Pete's passing. He will always be a special person to me. He taught me a lot re railroading the summer of '62 when I worked as a fireman on the old SALRR and went out on runs with him. He was also a close friend to my dad, who was also an engineers on the old Seaboard Airline RR. I always looked forward to the times in later years when my family and I would visit mother and go to church on Sunday mornings with her. Pete was always faithful to be there at the front door of the church to welcome us and to renew friendships of those days gone by. We will be remembering all of you in our prayers during this coming time. James Marvin & Sandy 1Thess 4:13-18
